Paul Dugliss, M.D.

Director and Academic Dean, New World Ayurveda

Dr. Dugliss practices both Ayurvedic and Internal Medicine.  He is the former Director of Oakwood Healthcare System’s Complementary & Alternative Medicine Center in Westland, MI.  He began studying Ayurvedic Medicine in the mid-1980′s and has trained both in this country at Maharishi International University and in Europe at Maharishi Vedic University, Valkenberg, Holland.  He is also has training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has an M.A. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology and is the author of Ayurveda – The Power to Heal, Capturing the Bliss – Ayurveda and the Yoga of Emotions, The Future of Medicine, Yoga and Ayurveda, Enlightened Nutrition, and The Myth of Cholesterol.

 

Jeffrey Kauffman, M.D.

Dr. Jeffrey Kauffman has extensive experience in both Western medicine and holistic healing, including 32 years of experience in Acupuncture.  He has incorporated effective alternative modes of treatment into his medical practice, including Ayurveda.  He is a certified meditation teacher in Siddha Yoga Meditation.


Andrea J. Seiffertt, D.O.

Andrea graduated from the College of William and Mary with extensive coursework in Environmental Science and a BS in Biology, received her Osteopathic medical degree at KCUMB-COM, and finished her residency training in Internal Medicine at UTMB-Galveston. She completed the Ayurvedic Practitioner’s course at New World Ayurveda, as well as the Advanced Practitioner course, the Jyotish course, and the Ayurvedic Counseling course. Her goal is to help change the western medical paradigm to a system based on true holistic healing, and describes her philosophy of health care as “Sustainable Health” (TM). She is currently teaching as well as serving in private practice, combining her Osteopathic Internal Medicine skills with the wisdom of Ayurveda, and devotes her practice to connecting people back to themselves and our planet to achieve true health.

Wendy Arneill, R.N.

Wendy Arneill, R.N. has two Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Biological Sciences, as well as a Minor in Nutrition. She has nursing experience in Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department. Wendy has spent several years working with the human body alongside physical therapists. She has certifications as a Reiki Level II Practitioner, Kundalini Prenatal Yoga Instructor, Prenatal & Birth Doula, and Wilderness First Responder. She has training in visualization and relaxation techniques and intuitive healing. She is integrating wisdom from eastern, western and metaphysical studies to facilitate healthier and happier families. She received her Ayurvedic training with the New World Ayurveda Program in 2009.

 

 

 

 

 

 

David Lesinski, M.A.

David Lesinski received his Ayurvedic Training with New World Ayurveda in 2010. An experienced Yoga instructor and seasoned educator, he brings his many years of teaching experience to the Ayurveda and Yoga Intensives and public workshops. He has many years of training in Yoga and meditation and brings a wealth of intellectual experience to the workshops and intensives he conducts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sandra Lavangeles, B.A.

Sandra is a graduate of the Kripalu school of Ayurveda, has completed continuing education with New World Ayurveda in Advanced Clinical Skills and Ayurvedic Life Transformation Skills, and holds a continuing education certificate in Anatomy and Physiology. She is also a graduate of Syracuse University and has 9 years employment experience educating physicians, nurses and clinical staff in the specialties of neurology, psychiatry, pain management, physical medicine & rehabilitation, gastroenterology, and dermatology.  Sandra’s focus is on program development at New World Ayurveda and is devoted to her Ayurvedic Life Transformation practice in South Portland, Maine, and helping others discover the love and bliss within themselves through the Path of Love.

 

 

Asrael Zemenick, B.A.

Asrael begin her studies with New World Ayurveda in 2007, becoming an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner.  Her training includes specialized intensives in Pancha Karma, Jyotish Astrology, and Ayurvedic Yoga.  She continues to deepen her knowledge in the Ayurvedic Life Transformation Course~ to be completed June 2012.  Asrael is also a Yoga Instructor, completing her RYT200 course in 2006.  She has further training in Reiki, Healing Touch, and Intuitive Healing.  Asrael runs her own Ayurvedic Healing Practice, where she focuses on expanding consciousness; working with all the different koshic layers, from the physical to the spiritual to create balance and bliss for all.
